When in doubt, boulder
The stronger you are, the less effort every athletic movement requires. The most persistent training factor, one must train strength at all times, varying the volume throughout the year, but never stopping. I’m not just talking about weight lifting here, but building finger strength, core strength (not core endurance), and upper body strength through bouldering. If I could go back and talk to the 20-year-old me, I would tell him to boulder at least once a week forever.
