Final Days Final days of the honeymoon, some nice photos of Siurana to inspire: perfect blue sky days at times. It hasn't all been perfect but when it's good...... View fullsize panoramic of Siurana valley as the sun slowly set on our last evening there. We were amazed as ever to see how busy it was on. Monday at the crag. I counted over 30 at one sector alone! inspecting what looks like a long-term future upgrade :) optimum size - small enough to get into most crags but big enough that capacity/space to build window blinds into door seals. Solar panels on roof rounded off an impressive setup from a group of Italians. watching Alizee get closer and closer on a very well known, and benchmark, route - being filmed as part of a new Prana movie. There's a certain route to the right of this I also got to finally(!) try - I've always laughed that I've had to queue on the hardest part of the crag on previous occasions! One of the busy parking areas in Siurana valley - this is on a weekday! Nice multi-pitch at Terradets (with the obligatory walk-along-the-railway-tracks to access the crag.....) to finish off. 200 metres of fun 5+ - 6b climbing. always great to see how pro-active the Spanish are in updating bolts. More and more glue-ins appearing too. Neal McQuaid25 February 2014 Facebook0 Twitter LinkedIn0 Reddit Tumblr
